Coordinate automotive repair flow using dispatch systems and detailed communication for Advantage Ford within The Wood Automotive Group. Work with technicians, advisors, parts personnel, and management.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Dispatcher assigns work according to technician skills, pay scales, and workloads. The position maintains productive repair order movement while supporting customer satisfaction. It also requires careful monitoring of timing, costs, documentation, and comeback repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain balanced work distribution across available shop resources
- Implement and maintain an effective dispatch system
- Prioritize comebacks for prompt and proper attention
- Review repair orders for complete documentation
- Relay job status changes to advisors and management

Requirements:

- One or more years of service writing experience preferred
- Sales experience preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- PBS experience is an asset
