Keep Veolia’s Material Recycling Facility ready for operation through industrial cleaning, equipment preparation, and mechanical inspection on rotating night shifts.

Veolia seeks a Maintenance Cleaner for a COR certified plant environment. The position cleans machinery, conveyors, and facility equipment while identifying equipment requiring repair. Duties include lockouts, guard removal, SAP work orders, and compliance with Alberta Workplace requirements. The schedule is four days on, four days off, rotating 12 hour night shifts from 6 pm to 6 am.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean debris from scrapers, rollers, motors, conveyors, and diverters
- Remove equipment guards and perform lockouts for maintenance preparation




- Identify equipment requiring repair through mechanical aptitude
- Create mechanical and electrical work orders in SAP
- Work overtime as required to maintain facility production

Requirements:

- Minimum one year of experience
- Experience working in an industrial facility
- Basic MS Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Confined space, rescue, and Respectful Workplace training
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
