Maintain AgeCare’s community, equipment, and grounds as a Maintenance Technician using plumbing, mechanical, and general maintenance skills. Help sustain safe resident environments.

This Maintenance Technician supports a preventative maintenance program across the building and grounds. The position handles routine repairs, lighting, landscaping, pest control, and equipment records. It also coordinates contractors and works with staff and departments to maintain a clean, healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Repair and maintain interior and exterior building areas
- Coordinate grounds, parking area, and driveway maintenance
- Perform minor plumbing, drywall, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
- Monitor and repair facility and emergency lighting
- Complete maintenance checklists and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

- General knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Positive understanding of boiler and furnace systems
- Prior plumbing, mechanical, painting, and maintenance experience
- Effective oral and written English communication
- Supervisory experience is a definite asset
