Build accounting expertise as an on-site Summer Co-op Accountant with MNP, developing IFRS, GAAP, or ASPE knowledge through client work.

As an Intern on MNP’s Assurance & Accounting team, you will support compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping, and tax activities. You will prepare financial information, review evidence, and collaborate with engagement teams and client contacts. The position suits students working toward a commerce or business administration bachelor’s degree, preferably specializing in accounting or finance. Your work will contribute to tailored information that helps clients make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop technical skills across compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping, and tax
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and financial reports




- Review evidence and correct discrepancies in financial entries
- Set up client files and manage multiple files simultaneously
- Collaborate with engagement teams and client contacts

Requirements:

- Working toward a commerce or business administration bachelor’s degree
- Accounting or finance major preferred
- Working toward CPA Skilled Education Program prerequisites
- Accounting office experience considered an asset
- Accounting and tax software experience considered an asset
