Support paediatric hip research through data quality control and management in the Hippy Lab at UBC’s Department of Orthopaedics. Work with registries and established protocols.

As a Research Assistant/Technician 2, you will perform moderately complex technical tasks across research registries. The work includes registry verification, software scripts, REDCap, and clinical documentation. You will report to the Research Director and work closely with the Hippy Lab team. These registries support global research into paediatric hip-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Verify registry data and report findings using established protocols
- Coordinate centre reviews, track requests, and follow up on delays
- Execute scripts to clean and standardize data files




- Identify discrepancies and resolve routine data quality issues
- Update procedures and initiate students into established routines

Requirements:

- High school graduation and related additional training
- Minimum two years of related experience or equivalent combination
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and REDCap
- Experience with research or clinical databases preferred
- Understanding of research ethics and privacy obligations
