Coordinate nursing and home support visits as a Client Service Associate with VON Canada, using scheduling software and digital tools. This regular full time role follows daytime schedules with evening and weekend rotations.
Within VON Canada’s Visiting Nursing program, you will plan services around client needs, local geography, and continuity of care. The position combines customer service, problem-solving, administrative coordination, and communication with clients, nurses, doctors, and service providers. You will also adjust schedules as needs change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign nursing and home support visits according to client needs
- Process referrals, updates, and telephone inquiries
- Adjust schedules for absences, cancellations, and admissions
- Forecast staffing needs and support daily coverage
- Protect confidential client and organizational information
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; postsecondary education preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, faxing, and databases
- Scheduling or logistics experience; AlayaCare familiarity is an asset
- Healthcare or contact center customer service experience is advantageous
- Satisfactory Criminal Records Check and possible PPE use
