Secure IT systems are central to this Network Analyst role with the City of Kawartha Lakes, based at 28 Francis Street in Lindsay.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Network Services and Client Support, this position protects infrastructure stability and integrity across the organization. Responsibilities span network and server services, enterprise storage, backup continuity, mobile technology, client systems, and security. The role contributes subject matter expertise to business units and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer network and server hardware, software, and services
- Maintain enterprise storage and backup availability, security, and continuity
- Support mobile computing services, devices, and security




- Recommend infrastructure and security standards to IT management
- Participate in IT governance and key project teams

Requirements:

- Minimum five years of related progressive experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of internetworking hardware and services
- Working knowledge of networking protocols and routing
- Experience with VPN, IPS, NAC, and SIEM technologies
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence or site attendance ability
