Virta, a wholly owned Fluor subsidiary, seeks a Principal Designer for material handling equipment and project execution. This senior position develops layouts for mining systems, including conveyors, feeders, stackers, reclaimers, and related equipment. You will work in supporting and lead capacities across varying project locations while coordinating with internal teams, clients, vendors, and other disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed layouts for mining material handling equipment

Create parametric 2D CAD drawings from 3D models

Conduct 3D model reviews with project teams

Prepare multidisciplinary layouts and conceptual design schematics





Review drawings and vendor documentation for project compliance

Requirements

Accredited two year technical diploma or global equivalent

Fifteen years of mining material handling project experience

Advanced 2D and 3D computer aided design skills
