As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse I, you will work in the Mental Health Acute Care Inpatient Unit. The position runs until January 31, 2027, with possibility of extension. Candidates are assessed using an experience and seniority ratio, with experience weighted at 80 percent and seniority at 20 percent per rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide psychiatric nursing within the acute care inpatient unit
- Work scheduled twelve-hour day and night shifts
- Support patient care across Monday-to-Sunday rotations




- Meet employer and union accommodation obligations when applicable

Requirements:

- Minimum two years of Mental Health experience for experience-ratio hiring
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required
- Current Newfoundland and Labrador College of Nurses registration required
- Post-basic Mental Health diploma is an asset
- Psychiatric Mental Health CNA certification is an asset
