Calgary-based Lead Electrical Engineer needed for power design, engineering deliverables, and occasional travel with Novus Technical Services.

Novus Technical Services seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer for its Calgary Office. The full time position supports Oil & Gas engineering services and reports to the Engineering Manager. Experience may include power plants, power studies, voltage design, substations, hazardous areas, and electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop block and architecture diagrams for engineering projects
- Prepare single-line, wiring, termination, and layout diagrams
- Complete design, load, and electrical assessment calculations
- Prepare scopes of work and engineering work packages




- Conduct site visits and field evaluations when required

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- At least eight years of electrical engineering design experience
- Registered or eligible for APEGA Professional Engineer registration
- Effective English verbal and written communication skills
- Eligibility to work in Canada and travel under ten percent
