The Director of Junior School leads a dynamic division serving 225 students and families at St. Michaels University School. Reporting to the Head of School, this senior leader oversees programming, operations, budgeting, and admissions collaboration. The position advances cohesive foundations, innovative teaching, and whole-school priorities connected to SMUS’s mission and strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of the Junior School division
- Strengthen curriculum and evidence-informed teaching practices
- Foster growth, reflection, and continuous improvement




- Empower faculty through coaching and distributed leadership

Requirements:

- Significant elementary educational leadership experience
- Understanding of Reggio-inspired approaches and child development
- Experience with curriculum and program design
