Outlook Eyewear develops, sources, and imports private label sunglasses for major retailers across Canada. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Product Development Assistant to support our team in Mississauga.

This is a hands-on role working with eyewear samples, product information, costing files, and overseas factories. If you enjoy fashion, keeping things organized, and helping a team bring products to market, we would like to hear from you.

About the role

You will support the day-to-day coordination of our sunglass programs, helping keep samples, records, and supplier follow-ups accurate and on schedule. Working closely with our product development, sales, and operations teams, you will help prepare retail presentations and keep track of the details that move projects forward.

Your responsibilities

- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming packages and samples.
- Organize and maintain our sample collection so products are clearly identified and easy to locate.
- Assist with quality control by checking samples against product requirements, documenting discrepancies, and flagging issues for review.
- Prepare and organize samples and supporting materials for customer presentations.
- Maintain product assortments and keep style, colour, and other product information current.
- Create, update,



and maintain costing files with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicate with overseas factories to request information, follow up on samples, and coordinate updates under the team’s direction.
- Track outstanding tasks and follow-ups while adapting to changing priorities.

What you bring

- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using SAGE.
- Strong attention to detail when working with samples, numbers, and product information.
- Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to handle several tasks at once.
- Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- An interest in fashion, eyewear, accessories, and retail products.
- Initiative, resourcefulness, and a willingness to learn.
- The ability to follow direction, work independently, and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Flexibility and a practical approach to changing priorities.

Experience in product development support, merchandising, buying assistance, sample coordination, or consumer products would be an asset. Pay: $23.00-$27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
