Provide advanced primary health care in Marystown as a Family/All Ages Nurse Practitioner with autonomous clinical reasoning. Work within an interdisciplinary Family Care Team.

This temporary full time position serves residents of the Burin Peninsula through the Family Care Team. You will assess and diagnose conditions, manage acute and chronic illnesses, and identify health risks within a holistic model. Services may include home visits and travel to alternate primary healthcare clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive Family/All Ages primary health care services
- Assess and diagnose diseases, disorders, injuries, and conditions
- Treat and manage acute and chronic illnesses
- Complete home visits and travel to alternate clinics




- Collaborate across the interdisciplinary Family Care Team

Requirements:

- Complete an approved Nurse Practitioner program
- Hold current Newfoundland and Labrador nursing registration
- Maintain Family/All Ages Nurse Practitioner licensure
- Bring five years’ Primary Health Care experience within seven years
- Hold current BCLS Certification and a valid Class 5 licence
