Lead Azure SQL administration, security, and performance work as a senior software developer on sensitive enterprise databases. This assignment is provisionally hybrid.

The Justice Technology Services Digital Design Branch needs database expertise for Criminal Justice Digital Design modernization. The position combines database performance modelling, query analysis, tuning, monitoring, security management, and production support. You will help sustain digital products and migrate Oracle data to Azure SQL for Criminal eIntake, DIR, and ICON Integration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer and monitor high-sensitivity Azure SQL databases
- Analyze query performance and tune database operations
- Configure database procedures, monitors, alerts, and automation
- Support data migration, testing, reconciliation,



and issue resolution
- Implement database administration procedures, processes, and guidebooks

Requirements:

- Five-plus years with RDBMS, Azure SQL, and performance management
- Experience securing, supporting, and tuning production databases
- Knowledge of Azure storage concepts and technologies
- Proficiency with Azure migration tools and Data Factory
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Synapse data workflows

Use Azure SQL administration, database security, tuning, monitoring, and migration expertise across large-scale modernization initiatives.
