Shape Greenwood College School’s next philanthropic phase through campaign strategy, advancement analytics, and high-value donor relationships. This ongoing contract position begins January 2027.

As Director, Philanthropy, you will plan and execute major and comprehensive gift strategies supporting annual and campaign revenue goals. The position manages a select top-donor portfolio while aligning fundraising with Greenwood’s mission, vision, values, and long-term objectives. You will collaborate across the Advancement team and school community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop fundraising plans and comprehensive gift strategies
- Monitor performance, forecast revenue, and inform decisions
- Align initiatives with school priorities and campaign objectives




- Identify funding opportunities with senior school leaders
- Ensure ethical, compliant fundraising practices and policies

Requirements:

- Seven or more years of progressive fundraising experience
- Campaign or growth-focused fundraising experience
- Experience preparing high-stakes solicitations with senior leaders
- Advancement database, CRM, and data strategy experience
- Knowledge of independent schools or higher education preferred
