Drive protein category growth at Sysco through strategic planning, advanced analytics, and contract negotiation. This role includes 0–25% travel.

The Category Growth Specialist, Protein acquires new business and strengthens Sysco’s market position. You will manage Salesforce data, coordinate proposals, and use team selling with cross-functional partners. The role also builds prospect relationships and transitions onboarded accounts to the sales force.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage pipelines, prioritize opportunities, and develop creative sales plans
- Coordinate local contract proposals addressing client needs and objectives
- Lead acquisition efforts and secure key accounts
- Review results and develop target-account improvement plans




- Manage onboarding and maintain accurate Salesforce prospect data

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
- Five or more years of relevant experience
- Strong financial acumen and business planning skills
- Understanding of profit, loss, food cost, and expense ratios
- Solid communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
