Thyssen Mining seeks an experienced Underground Heavy Duty Mechanic and Maintenance Supervisor. This full time position combines hands-on repairs with leadership, maintenance planning, and equipment diagnostics. You will support safe, reliable equipment availability across underground operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily underground maintenance activities and coordinate mechanics
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile and fixed equipment
- Lead preventative and scheduled maintenance programs
- Respond to breakdowns and complex mechanical issues




- Inspect completed work against safety and manufacturer standards

Requirements:

- Heavy Duty Mechanic trade certification or equivalent
- Extensive underground mining equipment maintenance experience
- Previous supervisory or crew-lead experience preferred
- Mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diagnostic troubleshooting abilities
- Valid driver's license and applicable underground certifications
