Affirm seeks a Software Engineer II, Full Stack, to launch backend systems, scalable APIs, and web applications. You will translate business scenarios into tested, extensible solutions interacting with multiple components. Collaboration with Product, Design, analytics, and global engineering teams supports informed technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and launch backend systems and APIs
- Ship web applications using declarative UI frameworks
- Break projects into phases with support from technical leaders
- Articulate technical constraints and evaluate implementation trade-offs
- Debug code and provide feedback through code reviews

Requirements:

- At least 1.5 years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python or Kotlin for backend development
- Knowledge of distributed systems, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
- Experience with React or Vue web applications
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
