Signature Supplements Inc., a leader in compounding natural health products based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, is seeking a Production Assistant to support a variety of components within our lab and production environment. This is an entry-level position suited to an individual who is dependable, detail-oriented, enjoys hands-on work, and is willing to learn and contribute across different areas of the production operations.

The Production Assistant provides general support across various areas of the company's production operations. This position assists with day-to-day production activities, including laboratory support, product bottling, finishing and packaging, sanitation, and general warehousing duties. Working alongside laboratory technicians and production team members, the Production Assistant helps ensure that production activities are completed efficiently and that work areas are maintained in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition.

Responsibilities:

Lab and Production Support

- Provide general assistance to laboratory technicians throughout the production process.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and production areas as required.
- Assist with bottling capsules and other finished products for completed production projects.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked work areas.
- Follow established sanitation procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Production Finishing & Packaging





- Assist with labelling and packaging of bottles
- Package, organize, and prepare finished products for storage or shipment.
- Support the finishing department with general production activities.
- Ensure packaging materials and finished products are handled carefully and accurately.
- Assist with maintaining an productive, clean, and organized finishing area.

Warehousing & General Operations

- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
- Help organize and maintain inventory, supplies, and production materials.
- Move and organize materials and finished goods within the facility.
- Assist with general housekeeping and organization throughout production and warehouse areas.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in production, packaging, or warehousing is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Comfortable performing hands-on and repetitive tasks.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials, within established workplace requirements.
