Work in homes and communities as a Casual Intervenor for Sensity, supporting deafblind individuals with communication and independent living.

Located in London, Ontario, this position focuses on day-to-day support for people with dual sensory impairment. The casual arrangement operates on a pick-up basis, requiring at least 20 hours monthly. You will relay information, assist with personal care, support household activities, and encourage community participation. The position includes indoor and outdoor work, with in-house training provided by Sensity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support individuals across home and community settings
- Relay information through effective communication techniques
- Assist personal hygiene, meal preparation, and house cleaning




- Encourage volunteerism and successful daily participation
- Develop goals and complete required records

Requirements:

- College credential in intervenor or related human services
- Experience with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviours
- Experience supporting mental health conditions
- Solid written and verbal English communication
- Class G licence, insured reliable vehicle, and driver abstract
