Evaluate inverters and power conversion equipment for Foreseeson’s modular ESS, focusing on three-phase AC integration, protection, and performance. The position is a one-year contract.
Foreseeson Technology Inc. is developing an Energy Storage System with high-voltage battery packs and AC input/output interfaces. In this engineering position, you will assess converter equipment, define three-phase 208 VAC and 480 VAC requirements, and validate grid-connected and backup-power modes. You will also analyze thermal performance and power quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and integrate inverters for battery-side DC conversion
- Define three-phase AC output and interface protection requirements
- Assess grid-connected, backup, transfer, synchronization, and anti-islanding modes
- Analyze efficiency, regulation, ripple, transient response,
and power quality
- Conduct high-voltage laboratory testing using appropriate equipment
Requirements:
- Degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, or related discipline
- At least three years of qualified power electronics engineering experience
- Experience with energy storage system integration or testing
- Simulation proficiency with LTspice, PSpice, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent
- Ability to prepare technical reports and engineering specifications
Use inverter integration, electrical protection, simulation, and laboratory testing skills to validate Foreseeson’s ESS power architecture.
