We're a growing law firm with plenty of good ideas. We need your help to turn them into well-run projects and teach us along the way. The scope is firm-wide, the work is hands-on, and what you build here will outlast any single project.

In August 2026, McLennan Ross established an Innovation and Knowledge Management team. This is the firm's first Project Manager and Process Analyst role, created to give us the capacity to turn plans into results. In your first year, you'll get to know the firm and how it operates, then introduce a project mindset and a project management framework.

You'll show people across the firm what a well-planned, accountable project looks like and take a close look at how our work gets done so it can be done better. You'll manage projects from scoping to adoption, keeping project owners informed and supported as they drive the business outcomes. What you'll do:Project management Introduce a practical project management framework for the firm, including intake, charters, work breakdown structures, governance, status reporting and post-project reviews.

Facilitate requirements gathering and business needs analysis. Manage projects from scoping to adoption, working with sponsors who own the business outcomes. Keep projects on track by managing scope, risks, budgets and competing priorities across departments.

Process analysis Scope and manage technology projects, including the rollout and adoption of AI tools such as Harvey, the firm's recently launched enterprise legal AI platform. Lead by example, using the firm's tools to make project work more efficient, visible and easy to follow. Build trusted working relationships with partners, practice group leaders, committees and business services leaders, and understand their priorities and how decisions get made in a partnership.

Earn support for recent ways of working through credibility, evidence and follow-through. Prepare clear, concise briefings,



recommendations and status updates that help partners and committees make timely decisions. Service to the firm Support business services teams, firm leadership and lawyers, including practice group initiatives that affect how legal services reach clients.

Prepare people for change through clear communication, training and follow-through. You have a background in business, project management, technology or a related field, ideally a bachelor's degree backed by ongoing professional development. You have roughly 5 to 8 years of experience in project management, business analysis or process improvement.

We're also open to accomplished project coordinators or analysts who have shown leadership on their projects and are ready to take the next step. You have a portfolio of delivered projects and process changes you can point to with results. Hands-on implementation experience is an asset.

You have an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, Planner, Loop, Power BI and Power Automate, and of process-mapping tools such as Visio.

Assets: PMP, CBAP or Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) certification; law firm or professional services experience. You're joining a new team in its first year, as the firm's first project manager and process analyst. The framework, the habits and the standards for how projects get done here will be yours to establish.

This role touches every part of the firm, from finance and HR to IT and practice support. You'll report to the Manager of Innovation and Knowledge Management and work directly with firm leadership, lawyers and business professionals in Edmonton, Calgary and Yellowknife. The firm has already rolled out Harvey as its enterprise legal AI platform.
