The City of Kitchener is hiring temporary full-time Winter Parks Labourers for approximately four months. This work supports winter control across sidewalks, facility walkways, parking lots, multi-use trails, cemeteries, and other city locations. Duties also include asset inspections and related work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clear downtown sidewalks, facility walkways, steps, and city sidewalks
- Maintain parking lots, multi-use trails, cemeteries, and routes
- Inspect winter rinks, toboggan hills, dog parks, and city assets




- Support Victoria Park Outdoor Rink and school crossing intersections
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Valid MTO G class driver's licence in valuable standing
- Availability for varying shifts, weekends, rotations, and overtime
- Ability to perform manual labour and learn related equipment
- Communication, customer service, and accurate recordkeeping skills
