Support industrial HVAC and piping engineering projects at JNE Consulting in Hamilton, applying system calculations, design coordination, and technical documentation skills.

This intermediate engineering position primarily serves HVAC and building mechanical systems while expanding into industrial piping work. Projects support steel, mining, and heavy industrial facilities, including brownfield modifications and operating-site assessments. The role combines independent design development with senior-engineer oversight and multidisciplinary coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform piping hydraulic, pressure drop, and equipment sizing calculations
- Develop piping layouts, P&IDs;, specifications, and design criteria
- Support field investigations, equipment tie-ins,



and brownfield modifications
- Provide construction support and respond to technical questions
- Monitor assigned work against scope, schedule, budget, and quality

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Approximately four to six years of relevant experience
- Skilled Engineer licensure in Ontario or eligibility
- Experience with industrial piping systems is an asset
- Familiarity with ASME B31.1 and ASME B31.3 is an asset
