As a Commercial Lines Senior Underwriter, you will evaluate moderate to complex risks, support brokers, and contribute to profitable business. The permanent full-time position requires at least two days weekly in your assigned office. You will apply underwriting strategies, manage diverse files, and coach team members while supporting regional service, production, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build meaningful broker relationships through visits, field underwriting, and industry events
- Assess complex risks, renewals, endorsements, and quote requests
- Coach team members on technical underwriting and broker relationships
- Improve workflows, processes, efficiency,



and underwriting best practices
- Quote, negotiate, sell, and authorize business within authority limits

Requirements:

- Five to seven years of commercial lines underwriting experience
- Chartered Insurance Qualified designation preferred
- Ability to handle complex risks and multiple priorities
- Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and customer service skills
- Eligibility to work in Canada without sponsorship
