Manage healthcare reception and patient records at Calgary West Central Primary Care Network. Use EMR systems while supporting referrals, documentation, and clinic communication.

As a Medical Office Assistant, you will help operate the Primary Care Centre at 5960 Centre St SE. The administrative work supports referred patients and the clinical team throughout a clinic open every day. You will handle calls, mail, faxes, referrals, medical records, statistical data, and patient direction. Available casual shifts may occur on weekdays, weekends, and evenings, depending on clinic need. The minimum commitment is one shift monthly when shifts are reasonably available.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive, sort, and direct packages, mail, and faxes
- Populate, update,



and validate EMR information
- Scan and link patient documents
- Access medical records through Alberta Netcare
- Enter statistical data for reporting

Requirements:

- Medical Office Assistant or Unit Clerk education required
- Healthcare front desk experience is an asset
- Experience with EMR systems required
- Telus Health CHR experience is an asset
- Transparent criminal background check required to start
