Provide compassionate resident care as a Personal Support Worker at Orchard Terrace Care Centre in Stoney Creek, Ontario. Work on-site with care plans and electronic records.

Reporting to the Director of Care, this part-time PSW supports residents’ physical and personal care needs. Responsibilities include activities of daily living, resident safety, monitoring well-being, documentation, and meal assistance. Use Gentle Persuasive Approach practices when managing expressive behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living according to care plans
- Monitor well-being and report changes to RPNs
- Document care and daily activities in electronic health records
- Follow protected transfer and mechanical lift procedures
- Provide feeding assistance and meal service support

Requirements:

- PSW certification from a minimum 600-hour program
- HSCPOA registration preferred
- Retirement or long-term care experience preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications preferred
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
