Build advertising stories and motion elements in Toronto, working hybrid with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and brand stakeholders.

The Kitchen is seeking a Senior Editor who can independently craft edits and develop everyday motion graphics for advertising content. You will work with Toronto and Chicago teams across social, digital, broadcast, and integrated campaigns. Strong creative instincts, technical fluency, and ownership from assembly through approval are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bring editorial perspective to story, performance, pacing, and structure
- Design and implement supers, typography, transitions, and graphic treatments
- Participate in pre-production and creative conversations when appropriate
- Collaborate with external partners on animation, VFX,



colour, and audio
- Share editorial standards, best practices, and technical expertise

Requirements:

- Seven or more years of professional editorial experience
- Strong portfolio showing polished creative advertising work
- Advanced Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects proficiency
- Ability to manage competing priorities and tight timelines
- Experience with Frame.io and remote post-production workflows

Use creative editorial instincts, After Effects capability, and cooperative ownership to strengthen The Kitchen’s in-house production work.
