This winter seasonal operator position runs from October 1 through April 30. Operators use various trucks and heavy equipment while supporting highway safety. Duties include year-round maintenance assistance, physical labour, and working shifts, nights, and on-call assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate various trucks and heavy equipment
- Maintain Ontario Provincial Highways year-round
- Assist with labourer duties and hazard remediation
- Repair potholes and guardrails when required
- Work scheduled shifts, nights, and on-call periods

Requirements:

- Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with air endorsement
- Three-year commercial driver’s abstract required
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and lift 50 pounds
- Previous snowplow or wheel loader experience is valuable
- Ability to work outside in all weather
