Deliver client and family centered outpatient nursing care for adults facing moderate to severe mental health concerns in Vancouver.

Vancouver Coastal Health seeks a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse for its MHSU Outpatient Services team. This nurse provides services for adults aged 19 and older, including care coordination, one-to-one support, psychotherapy, and interdisciplinary input. Care is short term, inclusionary, and focused on integrated services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement client care plans across the care continuum
- Anticipate and respond to complications and care issues
- Provide crisis intervention and assess high-risk situations
- Develop educational programs and materials for clients and families




- Identify barriers and intervene to reduce stigma

Requirements:

- Current practicing registration with BCCNM
- Three years' recent related experience, or equivalent education and training
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and client rights
- Knowledge of community, social, and mental health resources
- Skill performing autonomous practice and relevant standards of care
