We're looking for a Ramp Attendant!

As a Ramp Attendant, you'll support our Service Department by performing basic vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and tire services. We're looking for someone with a mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with vehicles and is eager to learn!

Key Responsibilities

- Perform basic vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid level checks.
- Assist with tire services, including dismounting and remounting tires onto wheels without causing damage.
- Operate alignment equipment and assist with wheel alignment services to ensure proper vehicle handling and performance.
- Safely drive vehicles onto ramps and lifts, ensuring they are properly secured before beginning work.
- Inspect tires and identify signs of wear, damage, or other concerns, reporting any findings to the Shop Foreperson for further inspection.
- Test-drive vehicles when required to help ensure services have been completed properly.
- Assist other Technicians with tire assembly, disassembly, and other shop duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures to help maintain a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:




- Full body mobility with the ability to twist, turn, bend at the waist, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods of time, including working with hands above the head.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months of automotive maintenance experience or recent graduation from an Automotive Technician program preferred.
- Previous hands-on mechanical or vehicle maintenance experience is considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a Driver's Abstract required.
- Certificate of Conduct required.
