Support winter parks maintenance for the City of Saint John using construction experience and adaptable workplace technology skills. This temporary full-time position serves outdoor and indoor facilities.

Casual employees support the Development & Community Service team during the winter months. The work covers Parks and Recreation facilities, trees, parks, and landscapes. Successful candidates bring related post-secondary education, maintenance or construction experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain outdoor Parks and Recreation facilities during winter months
- Maintain indoor Parks and Recreation facilities during winter months
- Support winter maintenance of trees, parks, and landscapes
- Work under challenging environmental and other working conditions

Requirements:

- Related post-secondary education is ideally preferred
- Experience in maintenance and construction work
- Aptitude to learn current workplace technologies
- Ability to adapt to new workplace technologies
- Valid driver’s license required
