The AZ Float Driver operates a tractor or dump truck hauling a trailer carrying heavy construction machinery. You will maintain equipment, complete required inspections, and manage documentation involving logbooks, hours of service, weight restrictions, and cargo securement. Clear communication with dispatchers, foremen, and supervisors supports accurate deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate float trucks transporting heavy construction machinery
- Complete logbooks, trip inspections, and pre-trip inspections
- Maintain equipment under Forest procedures and specifications




- Observe weight restrictions and cargo securement requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, foremen, and supervisors

Requirements:

- Valid AZ driver’s license
- Minimum three years tri axle or tractor operation
- Current driver’s background check within the last thirty days
- In-depth knowledge of CVOR requirements
- Safe driving ability in traffic and weather conditions
