This Complex Claims Advisor investigates, evaluates, and resolves high-risk claims involving litigation, liability, environmental issues, or high net worth clients. The role requires technical judgment, accurate reserving, and collaboration with internal and external partners. Claims may take more than one year to resolve.

Key Responsibilities:

- Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex claims accurately
- Meet clients and witnesses to obtain statements
- Negotiate claims with clients and third parties
- Identify fraud and mitigate risks or escalations
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues

Requirements:

- Bilingual English and French communication skills
- Five to seven years of field residential claims experience
- AMF-issued claims adjusting license required
- Valid driver's license and Quebec travel availability
- CIP or FCIP designation considered an asset
