Assignment locations: Southern Alberta — Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Taber, Raymond, Magrath, Cardston and Pincher Creek

Pay: $33+ per hour (subject to experience)

Employment: Temporary / Contract / Casual

Shifts: Days, evenings and nights depending on assignment

About the Opportunity

HealthOPM is recruiting Calgary-area Licensed Practical Nurses interested in travelling to Valuable Samaritan seniors’ care facilities across Southern Alberta. Assignments may include short-notice shifts, short-term contracts and extended coverage depending on facility needs.

Responsibilities

- Provide resident-centred nursing care, medication administration and clinical monitoring within LPN scope of practice.

- Complete assessments, maintain accurate documentation and report changes in residents’ conditions.

- Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to support resident safety and continuity of care.

Requirements

- Active Alberta Licensed Practical Nurse registration in good standing.

- Experience in long-term care,



continuing care, assisted living or seniors’ care preferred.

- Current CPR/BLS and ability to complete required background, reference and health-document screening.

- Availability for the assignment dates and shifts accepted; ability to travel to the actual worksite where required.

- Previous Good Samaritan experience is an asset.

Travel & Accommodation

For approved assignments, eligible mileage may be reimbursed at $0.50/km for travel over 50 km, and accommodation support may be available up to $2,000 per month per worker. Eligibility, approval and reimbursement arrangements are confirmed for each assignment before acceptance.
