Crofton House School seeks an experienced Music teacher for its Vancouver Junior School, leading choirs, concerts, and the Spring Musical.

This full time fixed-term contract covers maternity leave during 2026–2027. Working with a collaborative teaching team, you will support the positive growth of young girls from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 7. The role combines choral Music instruction, vocal technique, revised BC Curriculum integration, student-centred learning, and ongoing professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish strong vocal technique development
- Direct Junior School choirs and concerts
- Plan and teach collaboratively
- Integrate the revised BC Curriculum
- Engage in ongoing teacher professional growth

Requirements:

- B.C. Ministry of Education Certification
- Experience teaching Music with young children
- Required piano and vocal training
- Independent school experience is an asset
- Kodaly or Orff training is an asset

Lead choral learning and collaborative Music experiences while contributing to Crofton House School’s girl-centred educational community.
