REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST (RMT)

Practice Opportunity | North Bay, Ontario

With over 20 years of experience providing healthcare services, the Centre for Pulmonary Rehabilitation (CPR) is excited to be expanding once again!

We are looking for a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) interested in establishing or growing their practice within our well-established healthcare clinic in North Bay, working alongside a team-oriented team of healthcare professionals.

Located within The Village at Canadore College, CPR provides respiratory, pulmonary rehabilitation, other clinical services to patients throughout our community. As we continue to grow, we are developing complementary restorative health services, including Registered Massage Therapy.

The Opportunity

This is an independent practice opportunity with a flexible, percentage-based fee-sharing arrangement rather than an hourly or salaried position.

We are looking for an RMT who would like to build or expand their own practice within an established, professional healthcare environment.

We recognize that every RMT may be looking for something different. Some therapists may want the independence of managing most aspects of their own practice, while others may prefer more administrative and clinic support.

We are flexible.

Depending on the needs of the successful RMT, CPR can provide support such as:

- Professional treatment space
- Reception and administrative support
- Appointment scheduling
- Access to our existing electronic medical record and scheduling system (TELUS CHR), where appropriate
- Patient communication and appointment reminders




- Marketing and promotion
- Opportunities for referrals and collaboration within the clinic

Alternatively, an RMT who already has their own systems and established practice can maintain a greater degree of independence. Our goal is to develop an arrangement that is mutually beneficial and works well for both the RMT and the clinic.

CPR has an established patient population and provides respiratory care, pulmonary rehabilitation services. Our location also places us within the Canadore College community and close to Nipissing University, creating potential to reach students, employees and the broader North Bay community.

Who We're Looking For

We would like to meet an RMT who is:

- Registered and in good standing with the CMTO
- Professional, reliable and patient-focused
- Interested in working within a healthcare environment
- Comfortable working independently
- Interested in building or expanding a patient base
- Collaborative and open to being part of a growing multidisciplinary clinic

Both experienced RMTs and newer graduates are welcome to apply. Hours and scheduling can be flexible and developed around the RMT's availability and practice goals.

Pay: From $1.00 per hour
