AVRCE provides hands-on janitorial training, including WHMIS and Secure Work Practices, with no previous experience required. You will clean assigned school areas, perform floor care, and complete related duties under an Evening Custodial Supervisor. Candidates select schools across Annapolis, Kings, and Hants County.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean assigned school areas using established practices and standards
- Strip, seal, wax, and burnish floors
- Perform other related janitorial duties as assigned
- Recognize safety hazards throughout school premises
- Participate in AVRCE janitorial training courses

Requirements:

- No previous experience required to apply
- Physical ability to perform assigned duties
- Knowledge of current cleaning methods and practices
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Three work-related references and required screening documents
