Drive regulatory compliance programs for BMO across applicable risk types, using governance design and evidence-based controls. This role is based at 20 Erb Street West.

As Regional Compliance Manager, you will support wide-ranging business units and regulators while aligning compliance with BMO’s Risk Management Framework and approved Risk Appetite. The work includes program management, regulatory interpretation, internal controls, stakeholder collaboration, and data analysis. You will help ensure products, processes, and channels address regulatory obligations and identified exposures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design governance, controls, and evidence-based control automation
- Monitor regulatory, legislative, and industry developments
- Interpret requirements and address compliance gaps




- Support audits, examinations, investigations, and self-reports
- Develop procedures, training, and sustainment strategies

Requirements:

- Five to seven years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree in a related field
- In-depth program management and analytical skills
- In-depth communication, collaboration, and influence skills
- Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving proficiency
