Build precise robotic teleoperation software at Mecka AI using C++, Python, and manipulator kinematics. Work spans real arms, sensors, and safety.
As a Robotics Software Engineer, you will make commercial arms controllable by remote operators across long distances. You will integrate vendor SDKs, drivers, grippers, input devices, and robotics middleware. The work connects human motion, robot motion, sensor timing, and deployed hardware. You will also support shared autonomy and manipulation workflows for embodied AI systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate commercial arms, grippers, drivers, and vendor SDKs
- Evaluate leader arms, VR controllers, mice, and haptics
- Develop inverse kinematics and Cartesian or joint controllers
- Implement latency, collision, workspace,
and safe-stop handling
- Synchronize cameras, depth, joint, and force-torque data
Requirements:
- Three or more years writing production robot software
- Robust C++ and/or Python skills with Linux experience
- Knowledge of kinematics, Jacobians, singularities, and joint limits
- Robotics middleware experience, such as ROS 2
- Experience integrating vendor robots beyond simulation
Apply robotics software expertise to teleoperation, controller development, hardware integration, and synchronized data capture at Mecka AI.
