Deliver comprehensive physiotherapy services at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, using assessment and treatment planning skills. This temporary full time position follows a weekday schedule.
As a relief Physiotherapist, you will work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. Your responsibilities include treatment implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and client or caregiver education. The assignment is expected to continue until the current incumbent returns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess clients and develop comprehensive physiotherapy treatment plans
- Implement treatment programs supporting functional independence and health outcomes
- Provide consultation, equipment prescription, and caregiver education
- Participate in quality assurance, meetings, research, and education
- Guide and direct the rehabilitation assistant within the team
Requirements:
- Physiotherapist qualification for comprehensive rehabilitation service delivery
- Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
- Availability Monday to Friday with two weekend shifts every twelve weeks
- Availability for 08:00 to 17:03 shifts
