Lead Coinbase frontend engineering for AI-driven finance across mobile and web, using React Native, Swift or Kotlin, TypeScript, and React.

As Staff Software Engineer and frontend technical lead, you will direct interfaces for Coinbase’s Consumer Agentic Finance team. You will build trusted experiences for portfolio questions, trading ideas, and agent actions. The work spans conversational UX, real-time data, streaming state, and regulated launches with design, backend engineering, and a registered investment adviser.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own agent experiences across mobile and web end to end
- Build streaming interfaces for advice, approvals, and execution
- Set architecture and technical direction across agentic surfaces
- Shape behavior through prompt engineering, evals,



and analysis
- Partner across teams to launch within regulatory guardrails

Requirements:

- Eight or more years shipping consumer products at scale
- Expert React Native and native iOS or Android experience
- Proficiency with TypeScript and React
- Production experience with LLMs and conversational interfaces
- Technical leadership across architecture, performance, and multiple product areas
