As Staff Systems Architect, you will define General Motors’ domain-agnostic co-simulation and virtual integration ecosystem. The work spans virtual ECUs, plant and behavioral models, interfaces, execution workflows, and engineering data. You will establish scalable architecture, standards, governance, and roadmaps across vehicle domains and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define end-to-end CoSim architecture, boundaries, interfaces, and ownership models
- Create reference architectures integrating models, software, services, and test environments
- Establish package, API, dependency, versioning, and deployment standards
- Govern variants, configurations, reusable assets, and traceable release content




- Lead reviews, resolve trade-offs, and align global technical stakeholders

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience
- Ten-plus years in software, systems, controls, simulation, or embedded development
- Architecture experience spanning components, teams, programs, or technical domains
- Hands-on understanding of CoSim, virtual ECUs, models, and execution workflows
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Modelica, or equivalent tools
