Provide emergency veterinary care onsite at VEG as a part time Emergency Veterinarian, using clinical judgment, surgery, and endoscopy. Work in hospital with patients and families.

As an Emergency DVM, you will treat routine and complex cases, including exotics, while supporting customers during urgent moments. The position includes mentorship, continuous learning, and emergency-focused continuing education. You will lead care on the hospital floor and communicate directly with customers about diagnoses and treatment options.

Key Responsibilities:

- Answer medical questions over the phone
- Examine patients and gather vital clinical information
- Develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans
- Perform emergency surgeries and endoscopic procedures
- Explain aftercare and preventative measures

Requirements:

- Hold a DVM degree or equivalent
- Maintain College of Veterinarians of Ontario licensure
- Demonstrate passion for emergency medicine
- Show interest in soft tissue surgery and endoscopy
- Work rotating nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
