Support CIRO’s critical capital-markets infrastructure with Azure, Linux, Windows, and FIX expertise in a hybrid Calgary position.

As Senior Infrastructure Specialist, West, you will support surveillance systems, Market Trade Reporting Systems, and enterprise applications. The Infrastructure Critical Services team depends on your expertise across high availability, incident management, cloud architecture, and real-time data pipelines. Western time-zone coverage supports later trading hours and mission-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support CIRO surveillance, MTRS, and enterprise applications
- Monitor health using Zabbix, metrics, logs, and traces
- Manage start-of-day and end-of-day operational processes
- Support FIX, Kafka, and derivatives market data pipelines




- Lead critical incident triage, mitigation, and resolution

Requirements:

- Five-plus years supporting production infrastructure in capital markets
- Understanding of trading workflows, FIX, and SAIL protocols
- Experience with Linux, Windows, networking, storage, and middleware
- Familiarity with Azure and infrastructure automation tools
- Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting experience
