SCADA operations expertise supports Northland’s wind, solar, and natural gas facilities across North America. Troubleshoot control systems and strengthen reliable operations.

As SCADA Engineer, Operations, you support systems throughout the operating phase of Northland’s asset lifecycle. The work spans SCADA, DCS, telemetry, historians, HMIs, and related control infrastructure. You collaborate with facility personnel, Technical Performance Management, IT/OT, cybersecurity, construction, and development teams. Your expertise contributes to troubleshooting, upgrades, lifecycle management, performance improvement, and facility integration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead SCADA and control system upgrade projects
- Troubleshoot and maintain facility SCADA and DCS systems
- Support testing,



commissioning, and facility turnover
- Maintain telemetry and plant historian systems
- Implement alarm management and performance optimization

Requirements:

- Qualified Engineer designation strongly preferred
- Canadian jurisdiction designation preferred for this position
- Experience with SCADA and DCS systems
- Knowledge of HMIs, RTUs, IEDs, and plant controllers
- Ability to coordinate vendors, consultants, and contractors
