Use financial modeling and variance analysis as a Financial Analyst supporting an established finance team on a seven-month contract. Greater Toronto Area residency is required.

This hands-on Financial Analyst provides maternity-leave coverage within an established finance team. You will support recurring analysis and reporting using existing models and templates. The work spans forecasts, management reporting, accounting collaboration, and leadership presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support monthly forecasts and analyze variances against actual results
- Prepare management reports and commentary on financial performance
- Maintain models and templates in Google Sheets and Excel
- Investigate discrepancies with accounting and understand invoices and accruals




- Build presentation materials communicating findings to leadership

Requirements:

- Three to five years in FP&A;, corporate, or strategic finance
- Strong financial modeling and spreadsheet skills
- Experience using lookups, SUMIF, and INDEX MATCH
- Sound accounting knowledge and accounting team experience
- Solid communication and high-level storytelling skills
