As Senior Counsel, you will advise ivari’s life insurance business across insurance, regulatory, policyholder, distribution, and market conduct matters. Reporting to the Head of the Legal Department, you will support strategic and day-to-day initiatives while managing changing priorities. The position also leads coaching and development for legal team members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide practical, risk-based advice to business partners
- Lead policyholder and insurance operations legal support
- Draft and revise policy contracts throughout product lifecycles
- Review marketing materials and regulatory developments
- Coach team members and support special projects

Requirements:

- LLB or JD degree
- Ontario Bar call and Law Society membership in positive standing
- Seven to ten years of relevant experience
- Life and health insurance industry experience
- Leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills
