We're excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Quality Engineer with an established Canadian manufacturer in the Toronto area

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures
- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Perform inspections, audits, and testing to ensure products meet customer and company standards
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to improve product quality and reduce defects
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Participate in customer and supplier quality activities when required
- Use quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, SPC, and CAPA





Mandatory Requirements:

- 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies
- Solid knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Experience working cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Able to work independently with limited support
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 is preferred

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Salary Range: $80k to $90k + benefits
