Deliver cardiac nursing care at Southlake Health in Newmarket, Ontario, using ECG interpretation and advanced physical assessment skills. This temporary, part-time position supports acute patients.

The Registered Nurse works within College of Nurses of Ontario standards and Southlake Health policies. You will care for diverse acute medical patients, coordinate patient flow, and collaborate with an interprofessional team. The position emphasizes clinical excellence, lifelong learning, and quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess and document patient health status continuously
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Coordinate care and assume charge nurse duties
- Support peers, students, and newly oriented staff
- Implement safe clinical practices and pathways

Requirements:

- Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certificate required
- Cardiac care experience preferred
- Ability to interpret electrocardiograms
- Recent cardiac procedure recovery experience
